Margarita Island is located in the northeast part of Venezuela, away from the hurricane area.

It is an internationally recognized tourist destination for its beaches quality and it is considered the most important tourism zone in the country. It offers excellent opportunities to relax and practice water sports such as snorkeling, scuba and windsurf.
